RELEASED IN 2016 and directed by Andy Palmer, "Badlands of Kain" chronicles events when two young women (Rachelle Dimaria & Katrina Norman) embark on a road trip from Southern California to Flagstaff, but breakdown near Kain, Arizona, where the people are weird. This is a low budget indie mystery/horror, but it's professionally made.

Well Badlands of Kain, you got me! I thoroughly enjoyed this film & the actors who held their own all the way around although none were familiar to me by name or face. This story was, as others have said, similar to stranded in a small town, etc. etc. but it turned out to be so much more.
