As powerful, destructive forces start to see Chappie as a danger to mankind and order, they will stop at nothing to maintain the status quo and ensure that Chappie is the last of his kind.
Neil Blomkamp's "District 9" was a surprisingly good Sci Fi twist on a classic tale of oppressor becoming the oppressed. I almost wish I hadn't seen it first, as "Chappie" is probably more enjoyable watched without full understanding of the plot twist at the end of D9.
Chappie is a movie that I really enjoyed! I didn't really like District 9, but Chappie was definitely very good in my opinion. I love how they made you feel for this robot and the emotions it makes you feel during the movie.
